St. Ambrose University is seeking a Lab and Office Assistant in the Department of Nursing. Candidates will be joining a well-established department focused on implementing the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the Department of Nursing and St Ambrose University. This position will assist faculty and students during skills and simulation labs, including open labs and student testing. This position will teach groups of students in the nursing skills lab and simulation setting. Additionally, this position will participate in departmental committees and monitor and maintain student records for clinical, agency, and accreditation requirements. Preferred candidate will have experience in teaching nursing skills and possess excellent interpersonal skills, especially with students. This person must be able to lift equipment and move furnishings daily. Candidates are required to have an earned Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Candidates must be licensed as a registered nurse in Iowa. Candidates must have two or more years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. The Department of Nursing is one of seven health science departments within the College of Health and Human Services.
