St. Ambrose University is seeking an Assistant Director of the Student Success Center, a CRLA certified academic support center (10 month position - August 1 through May 31). The successful candidate will hire, schedule, supervise, and assist with training undergraduate Tutors, Study Group Leaders, Supplemental Instruction Leaders (a peer learning program that provides regularly scheduled study sessions for traditionally difficult courses), and a part-time academic support staff member; Organize and update student employee schedules utilizing the TutorTrac software; Approve payroll; Provide problem-solving assistance; Help educate stakeholders about the benefits of peer-led learning; Assist in the preparation of program reports and certification documents, as needed. Bachelor's degree required or 6 years' experience in the area of responsibility.
