The St. Ambrose University Physical Therapy Department is seeking applicants for an adjunct instructor in our integumentary therapeutics course during the spring 2024 semester. This is a one credit course with weekly 2-hour lectures and two, 2-hour lab sessions per semester. The spring semester starts on January 22 and runs through May 10. Applicants should be a licensed physical therapist with contemporary experience and expertise in integumentary therapeutics with at least two years of clinical experience. Those with a background in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: management of patients with lymphedema, diabetes or other vascular pathologies, using modalities with an emphasis on physiology of healing, providing post-surgical care with an emphasis on wounds, and involvement in interprofessional teams focused on integument issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching and working with students, which may include experience serving as a clinical instructor.
